At Saginaw UMC, we are committed to walking with you through each stage of life. One of the ways we do that is through our caring ministries. If you are in need of prayer or pastoral visitation, please see the below information so we can be in contact with you.
- PRAYER REQUESTS
We want to be in prayer for any requests you have. Please submit prayer concerns to our email. You may also submit prayer requests in the red binder at the back of the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings. These prayer requests will be read aloud in worship. All prayer requests are emailed out weekly to our congregation. If you desire for your request to be kept confidential, please contact one of our pastors.Submit a Prayer Request - STEPHEN MINISTRY
Stephen Ministry is an extension of pastoral care grounded in Jesus’ command to love one another. Through one-to-one caring relationships those who are hurting receive the love and care they need to support them.
Stephen Ministry helps meet the needs of those who are hospitalized, terminally ill and their families, bereaved, separated or in the process of divorce, disabled, in a job or financial crisis, caring for an aging parent or other situations needing care.
If you, or someone you know, might benefit from Stephen Ministry please contact Donna Anderson, Director of Stephen Ministry. - VISITATION MINISTRY
Visiting individuals in the hospital, nursing home, or at-home situations is a priority of Caring Ministry at Saginaw UMC. If you or someone you love would benefit from a caring visit, please contact Pastor Rhonda Smith
