Little Blessings Ministry:
Little Blessings is a weekday tuesday/thursday program ministry of Saginaw United Methodist Church for children 18 months, 2, 3, and 4 years-old. Little Blessings offers children the opportunity to learn through play in a relaxed and nurturing environment that enhances their self-esteem and allows them to grow spiritually, mentally, socially, physically, and emotionally. Through active learning experiences, children have the opportunity to explore, discover, create, and communicate.
Curriculum
The curriculum is developmentally appropriate, utilizing thematic units and learning centers which allow each child to learn and grow at their own pace. Activities include art, crafts, computers, science, reading readiness, math, story-telling, music, and large motor skills. To enhance their spiritual development, the 3 and 4 year-old classes participate in a brief chapel time each week, which includes a short lesson and prayer.
Staff
Our staff is carefully chosen and thoroughly screened with criminal background checks. They provide prompt and efficient care for the children’s basic needs. Teachers are CPR/First Aide trained and participate annually in teacher in-service training. Classrooms have a low teacher-pupil ratio.
Calendar
Meet the teacher and parent orientation is September 2 at 10:30 AM and classes begin September 7. Little Blessings follows the calendar of the Eagle Mountain-Saginaw Independent School District for holidays and bad weather days.
Registration
Registration forms are available by calling or stopping by the church office. In order to hold a space for your child, a $50 non-refundable registration fee must accompany the registration form.
Class Days
Little Blessings meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Fees
Registration Fee: Each Child $50
Registration fee is due at time of registration and is non-refundable.
Supply Fee: Each Child $100
Supply fee is due by the first day of class and is non-refundable.
Tuition: All classes are $150 per month
Families with more than one child:
- Two Siblings $260 per month
- Three Siblings $390 per month
